Description
The due date has been extended to 11/30/2023 as reflected in this SAM.gov posting notice.
The main objective of this RFI is to survey the market for potential vendors of cost-effective solution to modernize the current GIT technology in accordance with the DOI Cloud Smart Strategy. BOEM/BSEE is interested in vendors who would be able to provide tools necessary to perform independent analyses and characterization of offshore energy and non-energy resources, while maintaining technical parity with industry as described in the scope section of this RFI. All proposed technological solutions must be FedRAMP certified (https://www.fedramp.gov/), working on FedRAMP certification or can be hosted on a government procured cloud environment. Vendors shall be able to provide for the acquisition of COTS geoscience, geophysical, or engineering software applications as either a lease, subscription, or purchase and maintenance. Potential vendors are not required to provide a full suite of technical solutions as described in the scope and can select to respond to as many or few requirements as preferred. If the vendor does not provide a solution for seismic interpretation, geology and geological modeling, 3D visualization, cloud transition, simulation, or data management they must be able to integrate into other industry standard COTS solutions. Please see the PDF attachment for the full details of this Sources Sought/RFI. Responses are due by the date and time listed on this SAM.gov posting as shown above. Send responses to william.rilee@bsee.gov.
