Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) is soliciting bids, and aims to subsequently awarding a single Firm-Fixed-Price contract for the Design-Bid-Build “Replace Boilers – Leavenworth” construction project at the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center (VAMC) located at 4101 S 4th St., Leavenworth, KS 66048

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Project involves the replacement of the existing four antiquated and deteriorating water tube boilers, and all associated piping and support systems, with three new energy efficient fire tube boilers as required by the contract drawings and specifications. The work also involves, but not limited to, the replacement of auxiliary systems in Building 39, fuel oil pump sets, condensate piping, deaerator tank, condensate return tank, the addition of a Continuous Blowdown Heat Recovery Package and asbestos abatement of all piping replacement.
