Description
There are two De Havilland DHC-8-103 aircraft modified to carry mission systems in the fleet. The mission systems consist of an E-9A unique Telemetry Relay System, a Telephonics APS-143C Sea Surveillance Radar (SSR), and a UHF Relay capability consisting of ARC-164 Radios and peripheral units. Flight operations are conducted at Tyndall AFB, FL. The flying hour program is estimated at 600 hours per fiscal year for the entire fleet. These aircraft are maintained using commercial manuals and FAA processes. These requirements shall be accomplished in performance-based terms.The CLS services provider will be responsible for providing support as follows: (1) Aircraft maintenance/operational support, (2) Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS), and (3) Modifications, in support of Air Combat Command (ACC), 53rd Weapons Evaluation Group (WEG), and 82nd Aerial Targets Squadron (ATS) daily flying mission. The E-9A fleet has limited Government Furnished Property (GFP) for support.
