Advanced Planning Briefings to Industry

The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) will host the Team Redstone Center of Excellence - Advance Planning Briefings to Industry (CE-APBI), on March 2-4, 2020 from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Central Standard Time (CST), at the Bob Jones Auditorium, Building 5304, John J. Sparkman Complex, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama 35898.  This year’s theme is “Innovating to Increase Supply Availability and Reduce the Warfighter Maintenance Burden.”

On 2 March 2020, there will be a Small Business Forum along with special guest speakers, panel discussions and introductions to major original equipment manufacturers currently doing business with AMCOM.

**MATCHMAKING REGISTRATION**

On Monday, March 2, 2020 from 1:00 - 4:00pm at the Bob Jones Auditorium (BJA) Small Business Matchmaking will take place. Here’s your chance to meet with local small business offices such as AMCOM, MDA, and NASA. This is also your opportunity for one-on-one face-time with large prime contractors such as Lockheed, Raytheon, and Boeing. There are too many great vendors to name here. The CE-APBI provides a forum for information exchange and discussion between Industry, Academia and Team Redstone government participants.  Our event will focus on Team Redstone’s core technical capabilities, acquisition needs and future opportunities.  Team Redstone leaders and subject matter experts will deliver presentations and conclude with question and answer sessions.  An array of Team Redstone member organizations will provide exhibits during the event. Networking is expected and encouraged.  Team Redstone includes the Army Materiel Command, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the U.S. Army Aviation, Missile, Research, Development, and Engineering Center, the Program Executive Office – Aviation, the Program Executive Office – Missiles and Space, the Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM) and others.

Location:  Located in the Tennessee Valley region of North Alabama, the Team Redstone CE-APBI will be hosted by AMCOM, on behalf of the Army Materiel Command, at the Bob Jones Auditorium, Building 5304, John J. Sparkman Complex, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama 35898.

Registration and Access to Redstone Arsenal: This is a no-fee event.  All expenses associated with attendance will be the responsibility of the participant(s).  Attendees are required to pre-register online.  Registration will close on Thursday, February 24, 2020.  Check-in at the John J. In order to gain access to Redstone Arsenal Sparkman Center, attendees must have either an active Common Access Card (CAC), Retired Military or Retired Civilian government employee ID or a Redstone Arsenal Visitor's pass.  CAC holders and Retired Military and Civilians will not be issued a visitor's pass at Gate 9 and will not need to stop at the Visitor's Center.  They will show their CAC or retired ID at the Team Redstone CE-APBI registration table and receive an event badge if registered.  Personnel without the above listed credentials will receive a visitor's pass at Gate 9 and present that pass at registration to receive an event badge if registered.

(NOTE:  Individuals without proper credentials will need to be entered into the MAX system)

Passes will be available at Redstone Arsenal Gate 9 Visitor Control Center. You must present a current photo ID (driver's license or passport) matching the attendee information submitted via the Registration site to gain entry. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to permit sufficient time for check-in.

(NOTE: Vetting in MAX is not a real time function.  It can sometimes take hours.  Failure to register, and submit the MAX form by the deadline, may result in a several hour delay to be approved access to Redstone Arsenal)
