The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) for a Firm Fixed-Price contract for the repair of a propeller shaft on a Virginia-class submarine in accordance with work package HRMC-513-24. The required work will take place at PHNSY & IMF, JBPHH, HI. The contractor must ensure that they can meet the qualifications listed in work item (WI) 243-11-001. The tentative period of performance is 17 June 2024 - 05 July 2024.
The solicitation number for this requirement is N32253-24-Q-0052. Proposals will be due on 17 MAY 2024 at 0900 HST. Submissions are to be emailed to both the primary and the secondary point of contacts listed in this posting.
This solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included with this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect though Federal Acquisitions Circular (FAC) 2024-03, DFARS (03/26/2024) and NMCARS 18-22.
This requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 336611 Ship Building and Repairing with a size standard for this NAICS code of 1,300 employees. The Product Service Code is J020 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Ship and Marine Equipment. All firms or individuals responding must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) https://sam.gov/ database before an award can be made to them.

- Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 provides instructions on what documents must be included in your submission.
- Addendum to FAR 52.212-2 provides evaluation factors upon which all submitted proposals will be evaluated.
