Description

The Embassy of the United States in Guatemala will issue a solicitation for Building Automation Systems (BAS) maintenance Services.

This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021) 

The Contractor shall maintain the Building Automation System(s) in a safe, reliable and efficient operating condition and shall provide the services of qualified, trained, manufacturer certified technicians to perform the required BAS PM services.  All work shall be accomplished in a manner which conforms to the intent of all applicable IBC, ASHRAE, NFPA/NEC, U.S. EPA, and DOS policy, procedures, and directives.

Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Guatemala will launch the solicitation on www.SAM.gov website when it is available.

The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered.

The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract.

The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation.
 

All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
