Description

Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) in support of National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) is conducting a market survey to determine the availability and technical capability of qualified small businesses, including 8(a) small businesses, small disadvantaged businesses, woman-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or HUBZone small businesses capable of providing Development of the U-Rhythm device for endocrine and metabolic investigation.

NIDDK, NIH, needs to purchase U-RHYTHM microdialysis collection devices to carry out a protocol that requires collection of interstitial tissue fluid to measure hormone levels in the fluid.  The recently developed U-RHYTHM system is a novel way to interrogate tissue exposure of people to cortisol or other hormones/substances over a 24-hour period (or longer) in a real-world ambulatory setting.

Interested small business firms with the capability and authorization of providing all the required products and services/support shall submit a capability statement to assist the Government in determining in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 19.502-2(b)whether this procurement will be set-aside for any of the programs described above. 

The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code 811210 with a size standard of 1000 employees.   All respondents are requested to identify their firm’s size and type of business.  Interested firms responding to this market survey must provide (a) capability statement demonstrating their experience, skills and capability to fulfill the Government’s requirements for the above. All respondents must include delivery timeframe and warranty information. The capability statement shall be in sufficient enough detail, so that the Government can determine the experience and capability of your firm to provide the products and service/support above.   A copy of the capability statement must be received via email to verne.griffin@nih.gov 10:00 AM eastern standard time on August 5, 2024.  Capability statement must reference solicitation #75N94024Q00211.  Any questions must be sent via email to verne.griffin@nih.gov  and must include solicitation # 75N94024Q00211  on the subject line of email.
