Description

Description of Requirement:
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and incidental services necessary to perform the treatment of non-native invasive plants infestations, which could include Japanese climbing fern (Lygodium japonicum), Privet (Ligustrum sinense, Ligustrum lucidum, and Ligustrum japonicum), Wisteria (Wisteria sinensis), Common Reed (Phragmites australis) and Chinese tallow tree (Triadica sebifera ) scattered over an approx. area of 774 acres. At a minimum, application methods will selectively target 99% of non-native invasive species within the 774-acre area. Application of herbicide to non-target plant species within these areas will be avoided to the utmost extent practicable.
Herbicide Treatment as defined in this specification at the frequencies identified in the Pricing Exhibit. The contractor shall perform in accordance with the standards defined in this contract.
There are a total of 11 Items totaling 774 acres.
Location: Francis Marion National Forest; compartment 85 and 217 on the Francis Marion National Forest. Treatment areas are located in Berkeley and Charleston Counties, South Carolina and are shown on the attached maps.
Period of Performance is June 23, 2023 - September 30, 2023
