Description

UPDATE 2/12/2024: This solicitation is being updated to attach the following document, "Source Selection Questions and Answers Part 1."  This document lists all questions provided by prospective offerors and subsequent responses from the USG.  A formal solicitation amendment is planned to follow shortly.

The Thailand AT-6 program directly supports the delivery of eight (8) AT-6 aircraft to the Royal Thailand Air Force (RTAF) as a Building Partner Capacity (BPC) program. This program is a key component to ensuring expanding U.S. joint force interoperability with the RTAF. The main program objective is to provide this equipment to increase operational access to geographically important airfields, allowing for the agile employment of U.S. aircraft and equipment during contingencies in support of Thailand. This program will provide specific defense articles as specified in the attached Bill of Materials (BOM), with no exceptions or deviations, to the RTAF.

This posting constitutes an official Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable source selection conducted in accordance with    Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation, as supplemented by the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), the Air Force Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFFARS), DoD Source Selection Procedures, Appendix C, 20 August 2022, and Air Force Mandatory Procedures 5315.3.

Offerors shall ensure proposals are submitted in accordance with Sections L & M.
