Description

Marine Corps Support Facility - Blount Island, Maintenance Dredging 38-Foot Project

Description of Work: The project, which is located at Duval County, consists of maintenance dredging at the Marine Corps Support Facility - Blount Island (MCSF-BI) from Station 0+00 to Station 56+09.1 with a 38-foot required Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) maintenance depth plus two feet of allowable overdepth as shown on the drawings. The placement location of the dredged material will be Dayson Island Disposal Area (D/A-D) as shown on the drawings. Project work also includes but is not limited to, environmental monitoring, turbidity and disposal monitoring, standby time and partnering regroup.

The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about May 31, 2023 and bids will be due on or about July 3, 2023.

Magnitude of construction is between $2,000,000.00 and 7,000,000.00.

The period of performance associated with this requirement is: 126 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP).
