Description

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 13; simplified acquisition procedures apply. VA will conduct the procurement according to a combination of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 36C25622Q0299 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract action will provide all tools and labor necessary to perform inspection, tuning, testing, calibrating, and adjustments of burners and boiler plant controls for the Overton Brooks Veterans Affairs Medical Center (OBVAMC), Shreveport, LA., for which the Government intends to solicit competitive quotes. Instrumentation, monitoring, and data management systems shall be calibrated every six months. Interested persons may submit quotes, and all eligible quotes must be received prior to the response date listed on FBO to be considered by the Government. This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SERVICE-DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS. The NAICS code is 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors) and the size standard is $16.5 Million. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-03- 01/01/2022).
