Description

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This project work consists of advanced maintenance dredging of Palm Beach Harbor at the Entrance Channel, Settling Basin, Extended Settling Basin, and the southern portion of the Expanded Settling Basin with 1 foot of allowable overdepth. All material will be placed in the Nearshore Placement Area, which is located immediately south of the inlet. Incidental work includes, but is not limited to turbidity monitoring, and environmental species monitoring. Work will be divided into a base and one option.
The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 15 November 2023 and bids will be due on or about 15 December 2023.
NAICS Code 237990, Dredging and Surface Cleanup Activities.
The Small Business Standard is $37 million
The Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00.
The project will have an estimated combined period of performance of 100 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed (NTP) to include 90 calendar days for the Base (including mob & demob) and 10 calendar days for Option A.
