Description

This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 13.501(a) Sole source acquisitions.

The Library of Congress (LOC or Library), National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) provides selected partner libraries across USA the capability of duplicating talking books via a system called Duplication-On-Demand (DOD). Part of this process involves printing labels for digital cartridges produced. The labels are printed on 5x6 110lb scored and foldable index card stock. These are very special labels and require a well-tested standard printing environment. NLS currently utilizes the Lexmark MS725, MS711, and MS823 Series laser printers for this process. The Library has a requirement to extend its expired original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Lexmark printer warranties and it on-site technician agreements to keep the printers functional and the DOD system operational for NLS’ partner libraries.

Please see the draft Statement of Work (SOW) for more details.  Also see the Justification & Approval For Other than Full and Open Competition. Document name: JA-Post Warranty Service for Lexmark Printers-FINAL_Redacted
