Description
1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested; and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation will be accomplished under the authority of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items.
2. The solicitation number is 6991PE24Q000001 and issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ).
3. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2023-04, effective June 2, 2023.
4. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside procurement under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 532420, Office machinery and equipment rental or leasing, with a small business size standard of $40,000,000.00.
5. Description of Requirements
The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), Maritime Administration (MARAD), Division of Pacific Operations (DPO) has a requirement to perform monthly maintenance on two (2) Sharp multifunction office machines.
The period of performance is twelve (12) months (1/1/24 through 12/31/24).
Service price per month covers all parts, labor, toner, drum, developer, color supplies, staples, and all other supply items except paper.

The Government intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order.as a result of this Combined Synopsis/Solicitation.
6. Required Responses
Questions or comments regarding this solicitation shall be submitted to the Contracting Officer via email at jon.meagher@dot.gov by December 15, 2023 at 1:00 PM (PT), to allow the Government sufficient time to respond. Any questions received after this date are not guaranteed to be addressed.
Quotations shall be submitted electronically via email to the Contracting Officer at jon.meagher@dot.gov by December 22, 2023 at 1:00 PM (PT). Late quotations may not be considered.
