Description

The 319th Security Forces Squadron (SFS), Grand Forks AFB, ND, Small Arms Firing range cleaning must be conducted with High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) vacuums. All surfaces, to include floors, tables, chairs, rails, target retrieval systems, doors, and window ledges must be free of any dust particles. This cleaning must include areas behind the bullet trap. The rubber granular bullet trap will need to be leveled, de-leaded, and all bullet materials removed.

This cleaning must be conducted in order to decrease health, physical, and fire risks to students, instructors and facilities. These risks are magnified due to heavy metal, ricochet, and flammable material exposure produced during firing.

SoW was amended in Sections 2.1.1,  2.3 and 2.5, added in the following language:

Section 2.1.1: "Level granular rubber to the proper slope (minimum 24").

Section 2.3: "lights and ductwork".

Added in the following language for Section 2.5 "The contractor may also perform swab sampling and have said swabs tested by an independent lab".
