ATC Smart Trailer

This is a sole source acquisition for Snap-on Industrial.

This is a Solicitation at JOINT BASE MCGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST, New Jersey for the Purchase of an ATC Smart Trailer. This requirement is being solicited under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for 336212, with a size standard of 1,000 employees for the ATC Smart Trailer at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst.

The 305th has more than a million dollars' worth of Snap-On tools and computer systems used to track the tools. The system that is currently in use will integrate with the system and the tools included in the trailer seamlessly that no other source can provide. The tool boxes and lockers will be customized specifically to fit the trailer and Snap-On will not have authorized resellers for these boxes. Snap-On is the only company that has a local representative that is able to make visits to the base on a routine basis to ensure that all tools are continually maintained, allowing 305th MXS to operate in a constant state of readiness. When factoring in the cost of an alternative trailers as well as replacing Snap-On tools with a different brand to be compatible with the
alternative trailer, the cost would not be advantageous to the Government. 

NOTE: Shipping is included in quote. Trailer has a 2 year bumper to bumper warranty provided by EZ Stak, and the Snap-On tools are covered under Snap-On's life time warranty. The smart trailer is designed for the KC-46 but has the basic tools for other aircraft if needed.
