THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL

Under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and 40 U.S.C. 113(e)(3) which authorizes the Department of Defense to acquire utility services for military facilities, the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southeast, Jacksonville, FL, intends to award a follow-on contract to 47PA0420D0005/N69272-02-F-0018, on a single source basis, to TECO People’s Gas.            

This contract is for natural gas commodity service in support of Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville located in Jacksonville, FL., Naval Station (NS) Mayport, FL., and Marine Corps Support Facility, Blount Island, Jacksonville, FL.  Contractor shall furnish, and the Government shall purchase and receive firm- natural gas service as requested by the Government from the contractor.

Interested natural gas providers may identify their interest and ability to meet the requirements stated herein and may submit their authority to provide service in the form of a tariff or ordinance. Submission must include providers valid Cage Code. FAR 52.214-34 applies.

The associated NAICS code with this procurement is 221210 – Natural Gas Distribution.

Small Business size standard is 1000 (# of employees).

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
