Description
The Contract Period of Performance will be extended until 15 May, 2023. This is to ensure enough time is available for delivery of the item.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT:
The purpose of this project is to:
Purchase, and deliver a new 35’ prefabricated steel bridge.
The bridge will be;
- 35’ minimum length measured from end of girder to end of girder.
- 14’ minimum width measured from inside of curb to inside of curb.
- Designed for HL-93 loading.
- delivered in two longitudinal segments.
- have convenient lifting points on both segments.
- be easily bolted together with all necessary hardware included.
- All structural steel will be “weathering”
- Deck will be constructed of galvanized corrugated steel.
- Deck will have a treated timber wearing surface.
- Bridge will have 18” steel guardrail curbs.
- Steel backwalls will be provided.
- Timber sills treated for ground contact will be provided
