Description

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation for Bank Stabilization Navigation Program (BSNP) construction services on the Upper Reaches of the Missouri River between River Miles (RMs) 360-498. It will be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 14.

In accordance with FAR 36.204 and DFARS 236.204, the estimate magnitude if this construction project is: Between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000

This procurement is a competitive 100% total small business set aside utilizing the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 237990 for Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction.

The estimate performance period for completion of construction is 780 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP).

At this time, no Pre-Solicitation Conference is planned for this solicitation. If the Government does elect to hold a Pre-Solicitation Conference, the Pre-Solicitation Announcement will be modified accordingly.

There will be an organized site visit planned for this solicitation. The details will be included in the solicitation.

Bid Bonds shall be in the amount of 20% of the bid price or $3,000,000.00, whichever is lesser of the two values. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required for the full amount (100%) of the awarded contract before the Notice to Proceed can be issued.

Bids will be due the day and time specified in the solicitation. The solicitation is expected to be available within the next 60 days.

Notice is given that it has been determined a consolidation of contract requirements is necessary and justified for this action. The determination will be published with the solicitation.
