BrainJack Insight Enterprise

This notice is accordance with FAR 13.106-3 to provide the public a brief explanation of a sole-source award where the Government acquired a commercial item using FAR part 12 and 13.  The procurement included only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), that the circumstances of this contract action deem only a single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement.  This is not a debriefing as described in FAR part 15.5; and this agency will not be providing a debriefing. 

502d Contracting Squadron issued a single-source award to BIF Technologies Corporation, San Antonio, TX  78238 to purchase software subscriptions (annual license renewals) to maintain the BrainJack Enterprise software for an existing platform.  BIF Technologies is proprietary vendor and sole distributor of this commodity to JBSA-Randolph, TX; and was found responsible to the Government.   The requirement is to obtain a valid one-year subscription to BrainJack Enterprise for a fair and reasonable value of $27,600.00.  The anticipated period of performance for the service will be 09 September 2022 to 08 September 2023.  This concludes the basis of award decision.
