Description

The Naval Air Systems Command, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA, intends to procure, on a competitive basis, risk communication training, specifically the course Risk Communications, for several one-day (8- hour) courses to the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) workforce. This procurement will be competed as a small business set-aside under NAICS 611 with a size standard of $15,000.000. The course shall teach students to: (a) describe changes in how information is processed in high concern situations; (b) craft and deliver messages responsive to questions and concerns; (c) describe communication strategies to enhance believability, trust, and credibility in high concern situations; and (d) describe ways to communicate information proactively about high concern issues.Classes will be a mix of virtual and in-person training. The award will be a firm-fixed price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (FFP-IDIQ) contract with an ordering period of 5 years. This solicitation is expected to be released on or around 14 August 2023.
