USACE SPK DBB - Sacramento River East Levee (SREL) Contract 4

AMENDMENT 0001 - 18 November 2022 - Includes updated plans, specs, price schedule, site visit sign-in sheet, site visit presentation and updates to sections 00 21 13 and 00 22 13 of the solicitation. Project Description: The scope of work for Sacramento River East Levee (SREL) Contract 4 includes construction of approximately 2.4 miles of seepage cutoff wall using Jet Grouting and Conventional open trench construction methods. The contract also includes 0.12 miles of seepage and stability berm construction and 0.37 miles of levee raise. Five segments of the SREL will be reconstructed within the Sacramento Metropolitan Region, beginning just south of the American River/Sacramento River confluence and continuing southward to the town of Freeport, CA. The scope also includes relocation and removal of multiple levee encroachments within the work area, removal and replacement of City of Sacramento Sump 41, and removal, handling, import, and disposal of soils. Per DFARS 236.204(ii) the estimated magnitude of this requirement is between $25M and $100M. This solicitation will use PSC Y1LC - Construction of Tunnels and Subsurface Structures, and NAICS code 237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction which has a size standard of $39,500,000 in average annual receipts to be considered a small business.
