Description

      Amended to provide site visit information:

 Government-Accompanied Site Visits. To accommodate offeror requests for Government- accompanied site visits, an organized site visit will be held at Greenwood Area Office, 100 Monroe Street, Greenwood, MS to be held on April 5, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. CST. This visit will consist of a tour of  typical work sites and facilities and will last approximately 6 hours. Participation by Offerors are encouraged. Offerors shall provide their own transportation for the site visit. During the official site visit, offerors shall not solicit advice or assistance from any Government employee pertaining to proposal  preparation. Any advice or assistance provided by a Government employee pertaining to proposal preparation, scope, or content shall not, in any way, be binding upon the Government.

              GREENWOOD AREA OFFICE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE (GAO O&M)

               OF THE MISSISSIPPI DELTA AREAS LOCATED IN THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI

This is a 100% small business set-aside procurement issued under NAICS code 561210, Facilities Support Services by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District (MVK). Features of the work include operation and maintenance of the Greenwood Area offices located in twenty-three counties in the state of Mississippi. A broad variety of operations, routine and non-routine maintenance, repair including emergency repairs, inspection, reconstruction, modernization, and rehabilitation of project facilities, water control structures, and features are required under this procurement. These include A broad variety of operations, maintenance, repair, inspection, reconstruction, and rehabilitation of project facilities, water control structures, and other features, including emergency operations that arise. Major Mechanical and Electrical Pumping Plant Repairs, Drainage Structure Repairs, Flood Gate Repairs, Levee Slide Repairs, Channel Bank Stabilization, Weir Repairs, Repair of Grade Control Structures, alterations, remodeling, unplanned & unscheduled maintenance, roof repairs, janitorial services, HVAC repair maintenance, security equipment maintenance, mechanical and electrical maintenance repairs and replacements; sheet metal repair, glass and glazing repair, masonry repair, sewer cleaning, septic tank pump-out, mowing, trimming and weeding services; tree trimming and removal due to breaks; erosion and slide repair, breach repair, crown repair, levee raising/flood fighting, levee reconstruction/repair to include sodding, seeding, liming, fertilization.

The Government intends to award a single performance-based five-year contract, Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) with some Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) line items.

The Request for Proposal will be available on the Contract Opportunities Web Page at https://sam.gov/. Offerors may register on the Interested Vendor List (IVL) at https://sam.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hard copies will not be available. Offerors should check often for changes (amendments). Solicitation issue date is expected to be on or around 4 March 2022. The Solicitation response due date will be established at a later time.

A site visit will be held at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District’s Greenwood Area Office approximately one week after the Request for Proposal is released to https://sam.gov/.  The Request for Proposal will include site visit instructions and the exact date(s) of the scheduled visit.
