Description

The acquisition is subject to the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 236220 with a size standard of $45 Mil. This acquisition will be solicited as an Invitation for Bid (IFB) prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subparts 14 and 36. A firm-fixed price contract award is contemplated. The project magnitude is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. Place of performance will be Clark County, Nevada.

The National Park Services requires a hazard material specialist to remove all affected building materials and rat carcasses from the ranger station including but not limited to roofing insulation, ceiling tiles, HVAC ducting, IT hardware, and lights that cannot be cleaned. The walls,
carpeting, and furnishings will need to be protected or moved from the building during the process to
prevent further contamination. Contractor will assure removal meets all federal and state guidelines
and regulations to assure the safety of the crew performing the removals and the construction
contractors. NPS staff would then start remodeling the building removing a couple of walls required
to expand office space in the facility.
The next phase will require the roof to be insulated with closed cell spray foam insulation, new
insulated HVAC ducting installed, and a false drywall ceiling to be constructed against the roofing
trusses to create a closed space in case of future infestations. New electrical conduit, romex, and IT
cabling would be hung against the false ceiling and below that a new grid tile ceiling would be
installed for access to the utilities. The grid lighting and registers would then be reinstalled. Any
damage to the walls would be repaired and painted for a finished appearance.
All work shall be in strict compliance with the specifications and/or drawings.

This is only a pre-solicitation notice to notify that a solicitation may be forthcoming. Responses to this notice are not being requested at this time.
