PPMD and CSB Furniture

This is a solicitation for commercial services, reference number W91236-15-T-0011. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and an additional written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE MADE AVAILABLE. This proposed contract action is by a Defense agency located in the Republic of Korea (South Korea) and only local sources will be considered for award. As the proposed contract action will be made and performed outside the United States and its outlying areas, no synopsis of this proposed contract action is required. 

The solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-04. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at: https://www.acquisition.gov.  

As a result of a renovation at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Far East District (FED) Headquarters building located at USAG Camp Humphreys, products and services are required to outfit additional office spaces. This procurement serves to provide furnishings and equipment required to equip the office spaces to function as designed. The requirement for this procurement is to furnish and install new furniture and equipment and remove and dispose of any existing furniture and equipment at the following facility location:

Quote Submission Requirements

The Contracting Officer will award a firm-fixed-price contract to the lowest-priced, responsible contractor whose quote conforms to the RFQ and is determined fair and reasonable. The intent of this RFQ is to obtain the lowest priced quote. Accordingly, award shall be made on the basis of the lowest price. Quotes which do not contain pricing for all items identified on the schedule shall be excluded from consideration for award.

The Government reserves the right to reject all quotes. The Government reserves the right to not award a contract to a contractor whose quote contains a deviation, as described below. The Government reserves the right to not award a contract to a contractor whose quote does not contain pricing for all items contained on the line item schedule or whose quote changes or deviates from any line items.

This announcement will close and quotes are due by 0000 (Korean Standard Time) 08 June 2021. Late quotes will be handled in accordance with 52.212-1(f). Signed and dated offers, to include a complete listing of all items, must be submitted to US Army Corps of Engineers, Far East District Contracting Office, Attn: Ms. Sin, Sang Chin, e-mail: SangChin.Sin@usace.army.mil. Responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quote which shall be considered. Offers shall be submitted via E-mail only.

Questions regarding this solicitation or the requirements must be submitted

in writing no later than 1400 KST on 28 May 2021. All questions received by

the deadline will be answered in writing via an amendment to the

solicitation. This amendment will be posted NLT 1400 KST on 31 May 2021.

- Solicitation posting has been amended to correct an administrative error in closing/RFQ due date and to allow additional time to vendors for preparation of quotes. RFQ due date has been extended to 11 June 2021.

- The Government is still preparing responses to offeror requests for information (RFIs). RFI responses will be posted as soon as possible in a forthcoming amendment.
