Description

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) is seeking feedback from Industry on the acquisition strategy best suited to support Cooperative Threat Reduction Integrating Contract (CTRIC) IV requirements while also promoting competition, technical excellence and innovation and Small Business participation regarding nuclear, chemical, and biological nonproliferation capabilities.  Potential sources may be asked to provide services across CTR’s portfolio including Chemical Security and Elimination Program (CSEP), Global Nuclear Security Program (GNSP), Delivery Threat System Reduction (DTSR) (formally Strategic Offensive Arms Elimination [SOAE]), Biological Threat Reduction (BTRP), and Proliferation Prevention Program (PPP).

This request for information (RFI) is for information and planning purposes only, assisting the United States Government (USG) in performing market research and determining industry interest and technical capability.  This RFI does not commit the USG to contract for any supply or service whatsoever.  The Government will retain and not return any documentation submitted.  Furthermore, DTRA is not at this time seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals.  The respondents will not receive compensation for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI; all costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party’s expense.  Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future solicitation, if any, is issued.  If DTRA releases a solicitation, it will be on the published on SAM.gov website. It is the responsibility of the potential offers to monitor the site for additional information pertaining to this requirement.

This market research is to seek industry input in order to maximize small business participation and to increase competition.
