Description

Amendment 0001 to provide correct updated version of the RFP dated December 12, 2024. The correct RFP closing date is 1/13/2025. The work includes providing annual maintenance dredging of federal navigation channels and sand traps of Ventura Harbor and placing all of the sand onto the beach. The project includes a base bid for the first dredging cycle plus two options for additional dredging cycles. Annual infill rates at Ventura typically range from 300,000 to 800,000 cubic yards, with an average annual infill rate of 480,000 cubic yards. Dredge quantities vary but may go up to 1,000,000 cubic yards per dredge cycle. The estimated magnitude of this project is: Between $5,000,000 and $30,000,000. The total contract duration is estimated at 50 calendar days per dredge cycle. This acquisition will be issued as an Unrestricted RFP awarded under FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation to be issued on or about 03 December 2024 with a tentative bid opening date of 03 January 2025. Sub-contracting plans are required for all construction contracts awarded to a large business when the award amount exceeds $1,500,000.00. If the offeror is a large business, the firm will be required to submit a subcontracting plan as part of its bid package. Plans and specifications will not be provided in hard paper copy.
