Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to DWK LIFE SCIENCES LLC, located at 1501 North 10th Street, Millvile, NJ 08332-2038 for:

1200 ea - DWK LIFE SCIENCS custom made glass cryules with below specifications-

• Glass to be extractable borosilicate glass that conforms to USP Type I and ASTM E 438 Type I, Class A requirements
• Cryogenic ampule can be frozen down to and stored at -80°C
• Vial Body Dimensions - 18mm OD, 1.2 mm wall, 42 mm in length
• Vila Neck Dimensions - 9mm OD, 1 mm wall
• Overall length – 106 mm
• Scored neck

NAICS Code for this acquisition is 334516 - Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000 employees.

***It is imperative that the cryules, when used for storage, can withstand freezer temperatures of -80C and store 7ml aliquot of fortified bovine QC samples.***

This contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR13.106-1(b)(1) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. All quotations/responses received by the deadline specified in this notice, in accordance with FAR 5.203, will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
