This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested.

The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price to purchase d Stream Head 32 Channel Coil, with Greenbrier Government Solutions, Inc.

The Magnetic Resonance lmaging (MRl) section in the Department of Radiology and lmagrng Sciences requires the procurement of 32-channel head coil in order to perform state-of-the-art brain MRI using the recently installed 3.0T for the Ingenia Elition X MRI scanner (hereafter MR1) purchased by NIDDK and installed in RADls. The MRI Department is responsible for all the imaging procedures in the Radiology and lmaging Sciences within the Clinical Center. The MRI Department services are crucial to care and treatment of the patents throughout the Clinical Center and NlH.

This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
