BACKGROUND/SCOPE
The Cooperative Studies Program Clinical Research Pharmacy Coordinating Center s Biorepository requires Thermofisher BRAND NAME/MODEL OR EQUAL Matrix tubes and racks (these are consumables) to perform its tasks. The Biorepository is the alternate sample storage site for the VA s Million Veteran Program (MVP) and is charged with processing samples used by the MVP in the conduct of clinical studies. With over 1.6 million samples on hand, the required items must be compatible with MVP established protocols and software scripts used by the processing equipment so only the specified consumables are acceptable to ensure no disruptions to patient care.
Since the actual annual requirement for these items may vary based on projected workload, this will be an IDIQ contract with a minimum and maximum anticipated quantity. Since the user will be performing work requiring these items, the vendor must send one shipment equal to at least one quarter of the ordered amount within 45 calendar days ARO after each period s award. Refer to Period of Performance for more details.
SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS

Items need to be Thermofisher brand name/model or equal to ensure compatibility and integrity with existing processing protocols, equipment, and Million Veteran Program specifications.
