*AMENDMENT 3: The closing date for this Combined Synopsis Solictation has been extended to 23 Jun 2023 by 12:00PM (noon) CDT.

*AMENDMENT 2: Mandatory clause 52.204-27, Prohibition on a ByteDance Covered Application, has been added to the solicitation. Please see the attached CSS Amendment 2 for full details.

*AMENDMENT 1: Questions and Answers below; Correction to Section C., Capability and Experience Document, in the CSS in response to Question 2(please see attached CSS, Amd 1) *

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

1. Question: The required training listed under section 1.50 PWS. How many hours of training is this?

Answer: The training listed under PWS 1.50 is given by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR), and can be accomplished in approximately 1 hour.

2. Question: Inf the RFQ it has the following: C. Capability and Experience Document – the Offeror will provide the Government with information about their experience performing the same or similar type of work on an IFPS-certified Level 3 industrial hydraulic systems within the last 5 years. Information should include, but is not limited to: i. The ability to obtain and provide employees with International Fluid Power Society (IFPS) Certification commensurate to the size and complexity of this system (see the attached Performance Work Statement – or PWS – para. 1.3.2 for details). The above credential has nothing to do with maintaining Xray systems, is this a mistake? Also section 1.3.2 doesn’t exist in the PWS.

Answer: This was an error on my part. Please see the CSS, Amendment 1 for the correct information.

3. Question: The statement for RM (Rate must be a fully-burdened labor rate). Does that mean travel to and from is included in the hourly rate?

Answer: No – travel is not included. Fully Burdened Hourly Labor Rate means an hourly rate that includes all salary, overhead costs, general and administrative expenses, and profit. It’s the total cost to a company for hiring and maintaining an employee. The fully burdened labor rate is higher than the basic labor rate because it includes that employee’s portion of overhead, etc.
