Description

This is not a request for either a quote, or proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this pre-solicitation notice is to notify potential offerors of Solicitation N4008522R2540.

This is a PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE for an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for a Firm-Fixed-Price Demolition Service contract.

The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, supervision, tools, material, and equipment to Demolish B-3742 aboard Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Cherry Point, North Carolina.

The work includes the demolition of Building 3742 and incidental related work. A complete set of specifications and drawings will be included in the solicitation.

This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS Code 238910 with a small business size standard of $16.5 Million.

The procurement method utilized is FAR Part 14 Sealed Bidding and the magnitude of the acquisition is between $1,000,000.00 and $1,500,000.00.

The Wage Determination is – Service Contract Act WD 2015-5781 Rev 15 20Oct 2021

Bid Guarantee: After award, Payment and Performance Bonds are required for 100% of awarded contract price.

Offerors must be registered and active in the System Award Management (SAM) website at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ prior to bid opening to be eligible for an award. Unregistered or inactive accounts will be cause for rejection of bids.

Offerors must complete representations and certifications required in the solicitation and submit with bid. Details will be available in the solicitation.

A tentative organized site visit is schedule on or about 05 January 2022 at 10:00AM. Details and requirements for the site visit will be available in the solicitation.

The solicitation will be made available in electronic format only (adobe Acrobat .pdf) and will be posted on the System Award Management (SAM) website at https://www.sam.gov/SAM/  when it becomes available, on or about 22 December 2021 free of charge.  Notifications of any updates or amendments to the solicitation will be posted on the SAM website only. Contractors are encouraged to registered on the SAM website.

A tentative Bid Opening is schedule for on or about 19 January 2022 at 2:00 PM.
