This office hereby issues Request for Proposal (RFP) for the B-21 Weapons Release Systems Shop (WRSS) at Ellsworth Air Force Base (EAFB), South Dakota (SD).
This solicitation will close 13 June 2023 at 2:00 PM CDT.
This solicitation is restricted to Small Business Participation.
The magnitude of construction costs for this project is between $2,000,000 and $10,000,000.
The B-21 WRSS consists of renovating an approximate 50,000 Square Foot (SF) facility B-21 program at EAFB, SD. This project will include spaces constructed to secure area standard (AFI 16-1404), See 01 14 00 WORK RESTRICTIONS for additional information and requirements. Facilities will be designed as permanent construction in accordance with the DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 1-200-01, General Building Requirements and UFC 1-200-02, High Performance and Sustainable Building Requirements. The facility should be compatible with applicable DoD, Air Force, and base design standards. In addition, local materials and construction techniques shall be used where cost effective. This project will comply with DoD antiterrorism/force protection requirements per unified facilities criteria. All work shall be in accordance with RFP documents issued within this solicitation.
The contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after Notice to Proceed (NTP) and complete the work in the proposed number of calendar days (Not to Exceed 365 calendar days) after receipt of NTP. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and Payment Bonds will be required.
