Intent to Sole Source – Brainjack Insight Enterprise

502d Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source, firm-fixed price contract to BIF Technologies Corporation, 5719 Mobud Street, San Antonio, TX  78238-1820 for the purchase of software subscriptions (annual license renewals) to BrainJack Insight Software Enterprise.  This notice is NOT a solicitation for proposals or quotations. This notice is to simply provide information regarding this requirement.

BIF Technologies is a proprietary vendor and the sole distributor of the software subscription to JBSA-Randolph, TX.   The requirement is to obtain a valid one-year subscription to BrainJack Insight Enterprise.  The anticipated period of performance for the service will be from 09 September 2023 to 08 September 2024. 

The Government intends to procure the Brainjack Insight Software from a single source under the authority of 41 U.S.C.1901 by way of using the procedures outlined in FAR subpart 13.5.  This single source is authorized under FAR 13.106-1(b), that the circumstances of this contract action deem only a single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement.

This is NOT a request for competitive offers, quotes, or capability statements. This notice complies with FAR 5.101 by disseminating information of the proposed effort to sole-source. Oral communications will not be accepted in response to this notice.  Pursuant to FAR 13.501(a)iii, Special Documentation Requirements, the formal Justification and Approval for this action shall be posted on this site within 14-days after contract award.  Oral communications will not be accepted in response to this notice.  Any information received pertaining to this notice will be emailed to sandra.smith.24@us.af.mil no later than 5:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time, Tuesday, 15 August 2023.
