Description
The Government requires the procurement of one (1) Localization System for Robotic Technology Kernel Software Vehicle Application, in accordance with the flowing Government’s minimum specifications:
- Shall be compatible with the U.S. Army Ground Vehicle Systems Center (GVSC) Robotic Technology Kernel (RTK) software.
- Shall be able to communicate with the RTK software and provide a compatible state estimation of the vehicle based upon the sensors within the localization system and wheel/track encoder information from the vehicle in which it is installed. The types of sensors required are Global Positioning System (GPS), IMU, fiberoptic gyro.
- The localization system shall be able to accept input from dual antenna GPS and provide zero-speed heading detection.
- The localization system shall have a six (6) axis inertial measurement unit.
- The localization system shall have a fiberoptic gyro.
- The localization system shall be able to accept four (4) wheel encoder inputs.
- The localization system shall be able to provide the individual sensor information and it should provide the integrated state estimation from the combined sensor input through Ethernet, CAN bus, or serial communications.
- The localization system shall provide continuous state estimation in the event GPS is lost for brief periods of time even while the vehicle is moving.
- The localization system shall provide accurate information for ground mobility from zero (0) through 70 miles per hour (mph).
- Data transfer rates should be 60 hertz (hz) or greater.
- The localization system shall be hardened and shock resistant such that it may be installed and operated in a military vehicle.
- The localization system shall be able to operate with a network time protocol server.
- The localization system shall be operable between 12 and 36 volts.
- The localization system shall be able to fit in a standard computer rack and have dimensions approximate or less than eight (8) inches (in) length, eight (8) in width, three (3) in height.
- The localization systems shall weigh less than six (6) pounds (lbs).
- The localization systems shall be equipped with interface control documentation or software that describes the data accessed from the system.
- The Contractor shall include shipping and deliver FOB destination to the following location no later than 01 August 2022
