Description: This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualifications of all businesses relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339113. The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking all qualified business manufacturer or distributors of small business manufacturers to all the following specifications:
Requirement: The James J. Peters VA Medical Center is requesting a brand name only acquisition of two (2) OhmniClean® UV-C Autonomous Disinfection Robot Units. UV-C disinfection units are mobile devices used in medical settings for the disinfection of environmental surfaces. The fully automated, self-driving robot features military-spec aluminum body making it easy to transport, a cooling system, 10.1 HD screen, door sensor and remote control, swappable lithium battery, speaker and mic, 3D camera and autonomous drive system.
The unit provides real-time reports and notifications over Wi-Fi. Automatic log of operator authentication. Operator selects the room to be disinfected, event timestamps are recorded, tracks position in the room during disinfection. Detailed records are immediately available for access from desktops, mobile device, or robot. Tailored view consists of Notifications, History, Intensity, Robots, Spaces and Reporting. Web portal helps manage a fleet of units. The service agreement consist of maintenance guides an manuals, phone and email support, remote robot health tracking, remote guided troubleshooting/repair, and service center repair.
Safety features include door sensor to detect entry into the room, and voice alerts when disinfections are paused or completed. If any motion is detected, the device operation will terminate immediately to prevent accidental exposure if someone enters the room. UV-C dosimeter testing is performed to monitor disinfection efficacy.
