Description
DLA is seeking manufacturing sources who can supply the below-described item:
20' X 8' X 8' ISO 2-SIDED EXPANDABLE FOLDING SHELTER WITH DOORS ON BOTH ENDS.
This shelter national stock number is 8150-01-623-2636. The shelter part number is SB3892.0.3S1.DLA (made to CAGE 0FXA9).
DLA cannot provide drawings for this shelter. The shelter has the below-listed features:
Dimensions are 20’ X 8’ X 8’. This is an ISO 2-sided expandable shelter with doors on both ends.
Allows for 2 man set up; 2 man set up self supporting expandable sections to allow deployment while on a truck or trailer
Includes an electrical package (w/winch and fluorescent lighting) including external power source connection
Contains CFC-free polyurethane foam insulation (Min R-12 walls and R-18 roof)
Includes 4 leveling jacks
Manufactured to the latest revision of ISO 668, ISO 1161, ISO 1496-1, ISO 6346 & ISO 830
Must be certifiable to international convention for safe containers (CSC) by time of award and international maritime dangerous goods (IMDG) standards
Compliant with MIL-STD-209, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-1366 and MIL-STD-1472.
Must be new or one time used only. One time used containers are not to exceed one year from the manufacture date
Material shall conform to the latest revision of the National Fire Protection Association Code (NFPA 70).
