Description

The original water stops for tw o (2) expansion joints (EJ) at the bottom of the dew atered lock chamber for Lock & Dam 2 may have been compromised, and soil movement through these joints appears to be occurring. The Contractor shall supply all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to provide performance and payment bonds, clean and prepare the joints, install expansive rope, and properly install a polyurethane (PU) grout(s) through methods of pressure injection or an acceptable alternative method proposed by the contractor.
