Description.
Prepare for and accomplish the Deactivation of the USNS ZEUS (T-ARC 7) as specified in the solicitation and in accordance with the work item package. The anticipated period of performance is 01 August 2025 – 29 September 2025. The place of performance for this contract shall be the contractor’s facility. Due to operational and national security availability considerations, the location shall be East Coast and Gulf, United States.
Major work items will include: General services for ship, Clean and gas free tanks voids cofferdams and spaces, towing of vessel, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB’s), zinc chromeate and asbestos analysis, SSDG jacket water cooler plate removals, life boat davit winch removals and overhauls and other types of work required to meet regulatory requirements set forth, by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS).
All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.

To obtain access to the work item package and government furnished information technical data, complete and return the attached non-disclosure agreement to the point of contact of this announcement.
The decision to solicit under total small business set-aside was made from market research. The MSC Office of Small Business and Small Business Administration Procurement Center Representative concurs.
