Description
The United States Army on behalf of the Project Manager Close Combat Systems (PM CCS) has a requirement to design, develop, manufacture, inspect, test, package, and deliver the White Star, LA44 (USMC); Simulator, Projectile Airburst, Explosive: XM181 / LA45; Airburst, LA45; Simulator, Hostile Fire, LA46 (USMC); Simulator, Launching, Antitank Guided Missile and Rocket, XM182 / LA47; Stinger, LA47; Simulator, Target Hit, White Star, M35 / LA53; Hostile Fire, M34 / LA54; Target Kill, Black Smoke, XM175 / LA71; Simulator, Smoke Effects, Chemical Agent, XM189 / LA96, collectively known as the Battlefield Effects Simulators (BES), and their inert replicas.
