Description
The Protestant Religious Education Coordinator (PREC) will primarily work to execute the Lead Protestant Chaplain’s (LPC) and the DAFB Chaplain Corps (HC) Leadership Team’s vision (hereafter referred to as the CLT) for Protestant religious education (RE) by planning, coordinating, and executing the relevant deliverables called for in the Chapel Annual Ministry Plan (AMP), Protestant community and RE fiscal year (FY) calendar, and the Protestant FY budget. This position requires flexibility and the capacity to work well with other chapel contractors, volunteers, and military personnel. The PREC shall serve as the primary coordinator, facilitator, and organizer of all Protestant RE events and elements. Additionally, the PREC will teach pre-approved curriculum for Sunday children’s church service(s) and PWC children’s RE programs when volunteer(s) have not been coordinated.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is 100% set aside for Small Business. The solicitation number is FA449722R1003 and this solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract.
The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611699 and the size standard is $12M.
The requirement is for a Base Period with Four Options. The performance is as follows:
Base Period: 8 March 2022 – 7 March 2023
Option Year One: 8 March 2023 – 7 March 2024
Option Year Two: 8 March 2024 – 7 March 2025
Option Year Three: 8 March 2025 – 7 March 2026
Option Year Four: 8 March 2026 – 7 March 2027
Offerors are encouraged to provide their most advantageous/best proposal. The offeror shall submit their proposal by 16 Feb 2022, at 1:00 p.m EDT to both POC below at the contracting office by email in order to be considered. Proposal is on an all or none basis and must be valid for 60 days. All questions must be submitted by 4 Feb 2022, at 9:00 a.m. EDT.
