Description

This is an official Sources Sought, intended for market research purposes and will not result in an award.

The U.S. Air Force 460th Contracting Squadron at Buckley SFB, CO is posting this Sources Sought to find potential vendors of an Under Vehicle Inspection System (UVIS) that meet the specifications of the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO).

Please read the attached SOO thoroughly then provide how your company can meet our need and any items of interest that the government may have overlooked. Please include the following questions with your answers in your response:

- The UVIS is expected to be embedded in the ground. Is this something your company can support? (Through subcontracting or other means)
- What are the differenlt location preparation needs of installing the UVIS you provide?
     - Will it require construction or just bolting?
     - How invasive is the installation?
     - What are the trade-off with price and quality?
- What are the limiting factors to installing a UVIS? This includes the site preparation, installation, and capabilities of the UVIS.
- What are the security aspects to take into consideration?
- What, if anything, is the government overlooking in the SOO for this requirement?
- Is there any functionality/systems concern regarding this requirement?
- Can your company provide all installation support requirements?
- Please provide any questions that you have.
