Repair Hangar Door Opening Mechanism

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,?as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2024-02. This RFQ shall be competed and set-aside as Total Small Business. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332321 Metal Window and Door Manufacturing Contractors with a small business size standard of 750 employees. The Product/Service Code is Y1BZ  Maintenance of Other Airfield Structures.USACE, NWK, requires the rehabilitation of the hardware and door operation mechanisms of the four (4) historic hanger doors at the 88th National Guard Aviation Battalion at New Century Airport. These systems require the troubleshooting and repairs of the hanger door opener system at the New Century Airport utilizing a commercial service type contract. The hanger is a historic structure that requires a safe, working, historically accurate door opener system that follows the State Historical Preservation Officer (SHPO) guidance.FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors  Commercial, does apply to this acquisition.
