NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE

The 90th Contracting Squadron, F.E. Warren AFB, WY intends to award a single-source contract to Whitaker Brothers, Inc. 3 Taft CT Rockville, Maryland 20850-1349, United States; Cage: 2B154, to provide for fifteen (15) KTS200 Datastroyer Key Tape Shredders. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order.  

The statutory authority which permits single-source for this acquisition is 41 United States Code (USC) 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1).  This authority is supported by an approved Justification & Approval.  It is the Government’s intent to proceed with this single-source action.  The applicable NAICS code is 333318 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS; No solicitation package will be issued.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All responses received by 12:00 PM Mountain Time, on 15 April 2022 will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the stated requirements. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered..
