Description
Contractor shall have knowledge of all aspects pertaining to the Statement of Work. A number of Air Handler Units at the Biosciences Research Center require service. Service is required to repair blown coils, move vacuum breakers from condensate side to steam side, and remediation work to create a necessary drop for drainage of collected condensate. It is intended that units requiring replacement coils will utilize existing housing but include a change in coil dimensions so as to create the necessary space and drop for drainage. In order to achieve the required pitch/drop for drainage, one AHU will require a hole cut in existing concrete, a pit to be dug, and existing condensate pump dropped into the pit. A separate AHU will also require a Cooney-type freeze blockcoil as a replacement coil.
There is a mandatory site visit to attend. Please see paragraph L.6.
