Description
Amendment 0001 is issued to address questions receivedin response to the solicitation. See attached formal SF-30 Amendment 0001.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is advertised as Small Business Set Aside in accordance with FAR 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested.
The Request For Quotations (RFQ) Number is 6933A222Q000010. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04, effective January 30, 2022. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The U.S. Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration (MARAD), Norfolk, VA is soliciting dry dock repair services for The Training Ship State of Maine (TSSOM). Issuance of a firm fixed price purchase order is anticipated for services and materials to perform this work in accordance with specifications in the Statement of Work.
