Description
The Government is requesting an offer to lease two (2), two-bedroom and six (6), three-bedroom homes within a three-mile vicinity of Lackland AFB, Texas. A six-month is intended, with 30-day termination rights for the Government. The lease shall be subject to the availability of annually appropriated funds as stated in the attached sample lease for real property. The desired occupancy date is as soon as possible, not to exceed 15 May 2022. Facilities are to be occupied by the US Government.
BASIC SERVICES: Contractor will provide one microwave, one refrigerator/freezer, one stove, and one dishwasher. Contractor shall provide furniture for each bedroom (one queen bed and one dresser), living room (one couch and one recliner/chair), dining room/eat-in kitchen (one table with four chairs), and one washer and one dryer. Contractor will provide pots/pans, cooking/eating utensils, plates, bowls, and cups for four personnel.
Each home shall have fully functioning heating and air conditioning.
All homes shall be maintained at full operational capability and deficiencies shall be corrected withing 24 hours unless another period is approved by the Government. The Contractor shall respond to maintenance call for HVAC units within 1 hour of notification.
Hours of Operation: The Contractor will provide emergency services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Contractor shall, at all times, maintain an adequate workforce to ensure uninterrupted performance.
Parking: Houses must have adequate parking for each resident to include one garage or car port spot.
Non-smoking Policy: ALL houses will be reserved as non-smoking.
Utilities: Contracted housing costs shall include ALL costs for the following utilities: gas, electric, water, sewage, garbage. Additional utilities (cable, satellite, telephone, internet) requested by residents will be paid for by residents and installed per housing office requirements.
Formal proposals are not required for inquiry, but please provide an itemized proposal of rental cost.
Local Representative: The Lessor shall have an on-site building representative, or a locally designated representative available to promptly respond to deficiencies, and to immediately address any emergency situations.
Oral or written negotiations will be conducted with offerors within the competitive range.
The competitive range, which will be established by the Realty Specialist, will be based on lease costs and other award factors stated in this solicitation. All offerors will be included who have a reasonable chance of being selected for award. Offerors have a chance to submit offers by 2 May 22.
