Description
DLA Aviation intends to issue a request for quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR 12 and 15. This is notice of the Government’s intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 48 CFR 12.603. The award shall be based on lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) evaluation criteria.
Description of requirements: Three high precision Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Jig-Grinding machines in accordance with Technical Specification VIBB 23-30-1329 dated 5 March 2024. Period of Performance shall be 210 days after receipt of order. FOB Destination, Inspection will be at Origin, and Acceptance at Destination. Destination is Fleet Readiness Center East, Cherry Point, North Carolina. The complete technical data package VIBB 23-30-1329 including machine, Foundation, Removal of Existing Equipment, IUID Tags, Shipping, and Installation requirements will be included as a part of the solicitation.
THIS IS A SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. RFQ SPE4A825R0002 is anticipated to be issued on or around 10 February 2025. A copy of the written solicitation will be available via the DLA DIBBS website at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/Solicitations. All responsible sources may submit a proposal sufficient to determine capability which may be considered by the agency. Proposals must be submitted not later than the closing date and time as listed. All respondents shall be registered in the System for Award Management website (https://www.sam.gov). All proposals received after the closing date listed shall be considered “late” and may not be considered for award.
