Description
This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes – it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the U.S. Government is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice.
The intent of this announcement is to identify qualified and experienced sources to provide inspection and maintenance to thirty (30) 150-pound wheeled fire extinguishers, as described in the attached Statement of Work document, including:
a. Dispatch / Service Charge (per pickup /delivery)
b. 150# Dry Chemical Recharge
c. Wheeled Unit Hydrostatic Test
d. Wheeled Unit Hose Hydrostatic Test
e. Nitrogen Cylinder Hydrostatic test (If needed)
f. Nitrogen Cylinder Recharge (If needed)
g. Parts to Rebuild Wheeled Unit/Hose
h. Provide full assessment report to the US Army, Butts Army Heliport, Fort Carson CO.
i. Able to pass background check for access to Fort Carson.
j. Contractor must be able to pick up and drop off each Fire Extinguisher at the place of performance and within hours of operation described in the Statement of Work.

In response to this Sources Sought, please provide:

2. Identify if able to provide the necessary supplies and service as described.
Base Access: Contractor or designated personnel may be required to access the Butts Army Heliport at Fort Carson Colorado during the performance of this contract. It is the contractor’s responsibility to coordinate base access and to ensure all provided personnel are allowed on base at the time required. Base access requirements may change without notice. The Government may help in this coordination; however, it is the contractor’s responsibility to ensure compliance and access as required.
