Limited Sources Justification – Mathematica QI Analytics Task Order Modification no. 1

This action is a modification to task order no. 47QRAA18D00BQ/75Q80123F80009. The purpose of this modification is to revise the task order Statement of Work and Delivery Schedule to add work (an additional task). The total firm fixed price of this modification is $1,463,344, which increases the total FFP of the task order from $7,940,951 up to $9,404,295.  This contract action (modification) was non-competitive, and was conducted using a Limited Sources Justification (see attached) under the following authority/rationale:

FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i) Circumstances justifying limiting the source.
FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(C) In the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original
Federal Supply Schedule order provided that the original order was placed in accordance with the applicable Federal
Supply Schedule ordering procedures. The original order was issued competitively (not under sole source
or limited-sources procedures).
The new work (Task 13) is a logical follow-on to the work that the task order’s contractor, Mathematica, Inc. is
currently conducting. Therefore, Mathematica is uniquely qualified to provide the required services for this
modification.
